I came in and had Sydney do my haircut. She was willing to learn and be attentive to my curly hair. While she is still learning I appreciate the work she is putting in to try and understand how to best tackle curly hair. While she is not a curl expert (not yet) and does struggle a bit on styling but not cutting, I do recommend her but keep in mind you will have to have some good understanding of how to style your own hair so it can be a bit more help to Sydney. She is looking for more curly headed folks so if you're not afraid of experimenting, i say go to her so she can learn! Overall I like my haircut and can't wait for it to grow out! :] I'll be coming back and by then im sure Sydney will have gained next level aura on curly hair ✨️

Syd did a great job as always! We were doing a touch up on my color (which still looked amazing) and i walked out of there looking like we had done a lot more than a touch up. The place is always clean, the staff is always friendly and in a great mood. The atmosphere is very welcoming and as long as you communicate in advance and have reasonable expectations, you will be wowed everytime. The price is VERY good for the quality of work and the amount of wear I get when I follow the correct maintenance routine on my end. Be honest with your stylist so they can be honest with you!

After not getting my hair done for over a year, and not having a specific stylist I went to, I decided it was time to try to find someone I could fully trust to do my hair. I have been following The Grey House for awhile, and would occasionally go in as new stylists started but I couldnt fully commit until I saw Amber's posts. She does fun cuts/colors, but also more "normal" for those of us that have jobs not allowing for the fun hair. I reached out to ask some questions, and was able to go see her for an appointment on 01/19/26, where she made me feel beautiful and more like myself than I have in a year! She is very personable, professional, and takes her job very seriously, making sure you really love your hair before and after you leave. Even though I've only seen her once so far, I feel that I've gained a stylist and a friend in Amber. I've received so many compliments on my hair today, and truly appreciate the hard work Amber put into making my hair look alive again. I would highly recommend her to anyone who may be scared to trust a new stylist but wants a refresh and a regular professional to go to. Thank you Amber and Grey House for always being amazing!
